The jig is up! Happy to finally be able to share some memories from my experience as Nightcrawler / Kodi Smit McPhee's stand-in (& photo double) on the latest X-Men film. Very thankful for the learning experience and the opportunity to see such talented artists at work, and to really get a first hand account of the amazing collaboration involved in making these massive films come to life.
Here's a compilation video of the my first few girly dubs featuring women having various types of moments. This is a weird sort of passtime (admittedly) but it produces these fun little curios, serving both as social media fodder and a collection of moments in film and TV that I look upon fondly. In the broader sense it's a fun excuse to obsessively practice making faces in a frame which I'm told is a helpful thing to be good at for this profession.
Hope you enjoy!

Just to bring you up to speed, I get a lot of enjoyment out of dubbing lines from films that feature women having "moments" of basically any kind.
All that to say, I've recently downloaded an new app called musical.ly which allows for longer dub videos than what I was capable of through dubsmash.
(An increase from 10 seconds to a full Instagram limit of 15 seconds IS a SIGNIFICANT BOOST thank you.)
In celebration of this breakthrough i've strung together 3 sections of the scene in which Julia Robert's tries to justify why she deserves the last brownie during a dinner scene in Notting Hill.
I honestly don't think anybody enjoys these more than I do... But you're here, so that sorta warrants you being subjected to it.
